PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum five years’ experience of working in (preferably contracts/documents) administration department of an international firm or intellectual property based business gained after college.
  • Proven track record in leading a diverse team in a high-paced environment.
  • As the first point of contact for many Gartner clients and internal associates, it is imperative that this person be extremely professional and customer service oriented, in order to ensure a positive client experience.

TECHNICAL/ PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Experience and adaptability in a fast paced work environment preferably in client service with the ability to prioritize work load based on value of business to Gartner versus complexity of legal terms review.
  • Experience & proficiency with Salesforce, MS Office and database systems.
  • Experience handling multiple priority activities/projects at once within allotted SLA.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the IT industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, incorporating requirements, action plan and timeline when communicating with internal subject matter experts.
  • Process-driven, methodical, organized and pays strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to work autonomously (i.e., high degree of self-reliance/self-starter)

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

Lead team of Contracts Specialists who provide timely and precise contracts management support to Sales, Deal Hub, Consulting, Events and Procurement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure timely and precise completion of signature requests on agreements ensuring all requisite approvals, per local legal requirements, have been obtained from an audit perspective.
  • Handle all escalations for ad hoc requests from other business units.
  • Participate and ensure below activities are completed by team members within designated SLAs:
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing global email in-boxes.
  • Respond to all emails, live calls and voice mails within each business day.
  • Manage legal/contract requests and work with others as required to meet individual and group objectives and deadlines
  • Suggest process improvements to provide greater support and coverage for DH/sales/legal/contracts.
  • Complete other tasks, as required.
  • Manage training materials and tools used in daily routine.
  • Interview, train, motivate and performance manage team of Specialists. This includes timely completion of performance reviews and Individual Development Plans.
  • Ability to tactfully handle any escalations or complaints. Include manager, as appropriate.
