You’ll partner directly with Program Managers, senior leaders, and customers to shape pursuits, negotiate high-value agreements, and drive execution strategies that protect the business while enabling mission success. From front-end capture strategy through proposal development, negotiation, and lifecycle contract management, you’ll influence key business decisions and ensure disciplined change management across Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price development programs. You’ll assess contractual risk, craft negotiation strategies, advise on FAR/DFARS compliance, and guide teams through complex contractual matters with sound judgment and minimal supervision. What You Will Do: Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships and frequently influence business decisions Implement strategies to improve acquisition timelines and customer pace of contractual actions Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters by applying astute critical thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking innovative contracting techniques, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders Provide strategic advice and guidance on numerous contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes Review proposals to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements, represent a balanced risk/opportunity posture and deliver a financially sound business case while meeting company policies and standards Develop pre-negotiation objectives and implement negotiation strategy reviews as part of the proposal development process Advises the Collins Program Management Office as well as the Government of changes to contract requirements and ensures a robust change management process is in place to identify, communicate, adjudicate, negotiate, and implement changes to contract requirements Travel 15%-20% Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
