Regulatory Operations function within EC&O, supporting regulatory compliance through innovation, automation and cross-functional collaboration. The team partners closely with business areas to uplift regulatory capability, embed effective controls and support consistent, high‑quality regulatory outcomes. Your responsibilities Plan and execute risk‑based control testing across assigned areas within the Line 1 shared service centralised control testing function within Regulatory Operations Apply standardised control testing methodology, including test design, sampling, evidence assessment and outcome rating Identify control weaknesses, themes and systemic issues and support effective remediation Engage with control owners to clarify control intent, design and operating effectiveness Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of control testing standards, templates and reporting Support capability uplift and knowledge sharing across the Controls Testing team, stakeholders and Line 2 and 3 Risk Must have Strong experience in controls testing, operational risk, compliance or assurance roles Hands‑on experience assessing control design and operating effectiveness Experience working within regulated financial services or other highly regulated industry Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex control issues into clear, practical insights Nice to have Experience contributing to control uplift or remediation initiatives following testing outcomes Experience using GRC or risk management systems to document control testing and outcomes Exposure to thematic analysis, trend identification or management reporting Experience working in large, complex or systemically important organisations We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you’ll help us to live our values.
