Manager - Corporate Affairs and Contract Administration The Manager – Corporate Affairs and Contract Administration will be responsible for work related to corporate affairs, contract administration, and legal documentation within the company. The role requires advanced contract drafting skills, experience in contract negotiation, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. This position demands a strong understanding of commercial contract drafting and negotiation, an analytical mindset, and the capacity to handle sensitive and complex matters professionally. Candidate Profile: LLB (Bachelor’s Degree in Law) from a recognized university (English medium) LLM (Master’s in Law) would be an added advantage Notary Public with license to practice in Colombo Commissioner for Oaths Excellent command of English and Sinhala (both written and verbal) Excellent communication skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts High attention to detail in contract review and documentation preparation Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 7–8 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate environment or a law firm Responsibilities: Draft, review, and manage comprehensive legal agreements and any other complex documents Draft and review tender documents Liaise with internal and external legal advisors, government authorities and corporates when required Liaise with local and international clients when required Provide legal opinions to relevant stakeholders as and when required Maintain records and databases of contracts and legal documentation for easy reference and retrieval Coordinate and support internal departments in legal matters pertaining to contracts and corporate affairs Please submit your application via email to careers@hayleysfentons.com within 10 days of this advertisement, clearly indicating the position in the subject line.
