Description TITLE: Manager, Corporate Partnerships Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in 18 sports to Illinois athletes with intellectual disabilities. Position Summary The Manager, Corporate Partnerships executes comprehensive stewardship plans for corporate partners, ensuring recognition, activation, and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits. This role supports consultative partnership engagement, develops outreach and workplace giving materials, and leads efforts to track corporate participation across events and initiatives. Primary Objective To deliver exceptional stewardship, recognition, and engagement for SOILL’s corporate partners, sponsors, and workplace giving campaigns, ensuring fulfillment of partnership commitments and maximizing partner satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Cultivation, Stewardship & Recognition Partner with program services colleagues and marketing to ensure partnership deliverables are met and documented (e.g., signage, event invitations, fulfillment reports). Collaborate with marketing, finance, program services and other teams to create donor impact reports with key metrics and mission narratives (e.g., social media metrics, athlete stories, stats). Partner with Sr. Director, Volunteer & Community Engagement to coordinate and manage day of corporate volunteer opportunities. Support development of partnership proposals and stewardship calendars. Provide administrative support to relationship managers for the execution of key cause marketing campaigns including developing campaign timelines, program collateral, and volunteer engagement tools. Track and report on partnership KPIs. Represent SOILL at Lunch & Learns and workplace giving events; present “About Us” and other key presentations. Workplace Giving Lead the development, implementation, and growth of SOILL’s workplace giving and matching gifts program, including annual planning, campaign execution, and donor stewardship. Design and launch innovative workplace giving campaigns in partnership with corporate partners, leveraging best practices and new technologies to maximize participation and impact. Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace giving and matching gifts, providing guidance and support to donors, volunteers, and corporate partners throughout the giving process. Track, analyze, and report on workplace giving and matching gifts performance, using CRM and prospect research tools to monitor progress, identify opportunities, and inform strategy. Educate and engage internal staff and external partners about the benefits and processes of workplace giving and matching gifts, including developing promotional materials, presentations, and training sessions. Steward and recognize workplace giving and matching gift donors and companies, ensuring timely acknowledgments and impact reporting. Other Duties Additional responsibilities as assigned based on evolving corporate strategy. Core Competencies: Stewardship & Recognition Project Management Communication Data Tracking & Reporting Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, or related field. 2+ years, or other relevant experience, in nonprofit development, event management, or corporate relations. Strong project management, communication, and stewardship skills. Strong knowledge of workplace giving platforms, matching gift processes, and donor engagement strategies. Experience with CRM systems and data analysis for tracking and reporting on giving programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to SOILL’s mission and values. Work Schedule & Requirements Anticipated Start = January 2026 Based in Chicago (with flexibility for a hybrid office schedule) Reports to Director, Corporate Partnerships Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as position demands Independent in-state travel occasionally required, including some overnight and weekend travel as an essential function of position Physical mobility required: must be able to climb stairs, assist in setup and breakdown at events, stand or sit for long periods of time, and load and unload vehicles Medium work required, which involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds; requires a good deal of walking, standing, and/or sitting with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls; includes sedentary work Close visual acuity required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines; operating motor vehicles First Aid/CPR Training and Certification required or willing to obtain within the first six months; must be able and willing to effectively administer First Aid/CPR on-site during events Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required Offers of employment are contingent upon clear results of a background check Rate $45,000 - $55,000 Benefits This full-time position includes an excellent compensation and benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, voluntary disability insurance, a retirement savings plan with company match, generous paid time off benefits, and more.
