CACTUS is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to drive growth across South Korea's leading universities and research institutions. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with responsibility for developing market strategy, building relationships with key academic stakeholders, and expanding the adoption of our products and solutions that support researchers, faculty, and institutions. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape our presence within Korea's academic ecosystem, build strategic partnerships, and drive meaningful business growth in a market that is critical to our success. Responsibilities Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Korean academic and university market. Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with university leaders, researchers, faculty members, and other key stakeholders. Manage the sales pipeline and achieve assigned revenue targets. Identify market opportunities and stay informed about trends in higher education and research. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to support customer acquisition and retention. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. Maintain a strong market presence through regular travel across Korea, building relationships with key stakeholders and staying closely connected to customer needs and market trends. Qualifications and Prerequisites Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably within academia, higher education, research, publishing, or similar industries. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Native Korean and proficient in English. Strong network within the Korean university and research community. Comfortable operating in a global, feedback-driven culture, with a reporting line and key stakeholders based outside Korea. Able to work closely with cross-functional, multicultural teams and adapt to open feedback, fast iteration, and proactive collaboration. Prior experience managing sales teams is preferred. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
