ABOUT US

The Strategy, Innovation & Group Projects team sets the strategic framework for the Group and actively drives key strategy, transformation, and innovation projects across the MediaMarktSaturn Group. Working closely with business functions and national subsidiaries across Europe, the team develops comprehensive plans for implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of corporate strategy in close collaboration with CEO, Executive Committee and VP Strategy
  • Drive strategic initiatives across the retail value chain
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor moves to inform strategic choices
  • Collaborate with business units and functions on key cross-cutting topics (e.g., data-driven retail, subscriptions, platform models)
  • Support the annual strategic planning process and prepare executive-level presentations for the Board and Executive Committee
  • Evaluate potential new growth fields, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
  • Track progress against strategic goals and support governance of key initiatives
  • Foster the international community of country strategy leads
  • Cover corporate requirements for the strategy department, supporting e.g. annual report, annual shareholder meeting and risk
