Expeditors Ho Chi Minh City is recruiting Manager - Customs Brokerage as below: Job Description Summary Description: To further develop the Customs brokerage product in the marketplace through focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture in adherence to the company’s policy and procedures. Ensure all classification instructions for all shipments for all customers. Monitor duty deferment usage and levels. Monitor license/visa applications. Ensure all new business is transitioned correctly. Make two face-to-face (F2F) calls per week for retention and sales Maintain a positive relationship with the Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings. Promote productivity tools (e.g., using edoc, process management, customsware usage/Expo customs. Audit of files in accordance to Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) if any Follow up on refunds with customs authorities. Management of customs system Send client report requests through the available database (expo request, expo reporting) Provide content for customer reviews – duty/vat, Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department. Review and conduct staff appraisals and one-to-one meeting timely in line with the 3+1 Initiative Assist supervisor and key staff with goal setting and monitoring development. Qualifications College degree and above or equivalent qualifications. At least 3-year experience in customs clearance and management/leadership experiences. Well-rounded knowledge of the customs tariff, customs system, and regulations Possession of a customs broker license is an advantage. Strong global Logistics Industry knowledge Good PC skills including MS Word and Excel. Good English reading & speaking, understand cargo-related documents in English. Experience in handling various import/export customs formalities. Customer service skills and interpersonal skills are required. Able to work well in team, under high pressure and tight deadline. Good problem-solving skills.
