REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field required.
  • 6+ years of data science experience with Python, machine learning, and/or data warehouses required.
  • 2+ years development experience with business intelligence software, Tableau required.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau required.
  • Strong experience with the ETL process and database management systems required.
  • Development experience using AI or ChatGPT applications preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare with physicians preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare nomenclature and hospital quality measures preferred.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to business and technical audience preferred.
  • Proficient with agile development methodologies preferred.
  • Experience in strategic program and project management, system implementation, and deployment preferred.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional leaders and/or senior management to develop and implement change management strategies associated with people, process, and technology solutions.
  • Ability to manage and lead; motivate teams, resolve conflicts with or without formal authority, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Ability to perform daily functions with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a complex eco-system of workflows, data flows, technologies, tools, teams, and individuals.
  • Cross-functional communication and strong people management skills are essential; Good technical understanding, with the ability to translate from business speak to tech; ability to communicate with a diverse audience of technical, non-technical, and clinical constituencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing with keen attention to details.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and complex problems required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required. Understand that the clients’ best interests are served through smooth, seamless service delivery.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and flexible individual able to perform multiple tasks with varying priorities under conditions requiring speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent ability to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
  • Ability to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others.
  • Ability to understand a business process and translate into a data model.
  • Ability to analyze ambiguous technical and customer situations and determine appropriate solutions.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $142,020 - $184,625, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
