What will your days look like at LGI Solutions Santé? As Development Manager, you will oversee the team’s activities, priorities, and goal achievement. You will also actively contribute to decision-making within the Managed Payroll Services team through close collaboration with your director and colleagues. You will motivate and empower your team by guiding them in acquiring new knowledge, helping them grow within the company, and ensuring they have the tools to build an exciting and motivating career plan. How will your contributions be valued? Team Management Lead a multidisciplinary team and act as the HR point of contact; Support employees in their professional development, acting as a coach/mentor to continuously improve team performance and satisfaction; Create an agile environment based on mutual respect where individuals feel confident, safe, and able to innovate; Identify and plan knowledge transfers in preparation for upcoming projects; Assess staffing needs, hire replacements or reassign team members to build effective teams; Participate in setting and achieving objectives; Provide ongoing and timely communication regarding departmental issues; Technical Leadership Develop a broad understanding of the products; Help shape the product and operations roadmap; Guide team members in developing specifications and designs based on requirements; Collaborate with the support team to assess client issues and determine the best course of action; Work as part of the extended management team to improve departmental processes and performance; Foster productive interdepartmental relationships; Stay up to date with relevant technologies; Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization Ensure proper review of processes and documentation in collaboration with team members. Qualifications What you bring to LGI Solutions Santé to succeed in this role: University degree in administration, computer science, health sciences, or equivalent experience; At least 7 years of experience in software engineering; At least 5 years of experience managing a technical team; Familiarity with mainframe environments is required: COBOL, JCL, TSO/ISPF; VBA, REXX, CICS; Experience with Oracle and C+ (an asset); Experience in healthcare IT, payroll in the healthcare network, or LGI’s Espresso HR-Payroll (an asset); Knowledge of Atlassian suite and O365 tools; Understanding of best practices in public sector payroll management (an asset); This position requires a fluent level of spoken French and a professionnal level of written French, as the candidate will work with a French-speaking team and partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues. English proficiency is considered an asset.
