Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Manager, Digital Distribution and Programming will work closely with the Senior Manager and the YouTube Channel Management team to grow Hasbro’s digital presence, maximising exposure and revenue for our brands globally. The role is insights-driven, responsible for turning performance data and audience trends into actionable recommendations that shape channel strategies and guide content planning.
You will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of a portfolio of channels, leading efforts to deliver against business goals while ensuring output is platform-first, globally consistent, and audience-focused. The Manager will also play a key role in advancing Hasbro’s digital distribution strategy for top-ranked brands across the portfolio – including Peppa Pig, Transformers, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, PJ Masks, Hasbro Gaming, Play-Doh, and Dungeons & Dragons – leveraging a deep understanding of Hasbro’s business verticals, the competitive landscape, and evolving platform trends.
This role is a great fit for someone with YouTube channel management experience as well as a wider digital marketing, streaming, or social media background, who enjoys working with data and partnering with analytics teams to inform strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Shape and execute YouTube platform strategies across a portfolio of channels and brands, ensuring recommendations are aligned with broader brand and business priorities.
  • Analyse performance data, audience behaviour, and competitive trends to develop actionable insights that guide short- to mid-term content and channel planning.
  • Provide insight-led recommendations in cross-functional discussions to influence wider planning decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve internal processes, implementing improvements that strengthen efficiency, communication, and collaboration across teams.
-

Creative Guidance

  • Leverage insights to recommend content themes, formats, and storytelling approaches that align with platform trends and audience expectations.
  • Advise channel managers on packaging best practices backed by insights – including titling, thumbnails, and metadata – to deliver best-in-class, platform-native content.
  • Ensure creative best practices are applied consistently across all managed brands and markets, maintaining a unified global standard of quality and audience-first execution.

-

Operational partnerships

  • Work across internal stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration, alignment around insights, and early identification of potential roadblocks, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Track progress against deliverables with external partners, ensuring follow-ups and reviews keep performance and communication on track.

-

Capability Building

  • Share expertise on digital platform best practices and insights, mentoring junior team members, and supporting colleagues across the organisation in interpreting data and applying recommendations effectively.
  • Act as a role model by fostering a culture of continuous learning and staying across developments on YouTube and other digital platforms, as well as competitor activity and evolving content distribution strategies.
