We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our growing Digital Risk team within EY’s Risk Consulting practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and is passionate about helping clients navigate complex technology, cyber, and AI-related risks. This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

The key attributes of the role are previous experience working in a consulting firm (Big 4 or boutique), who has a broad range of technology risk and AI experience to support delivery of our existing portfolio of work and manage day to day engagement delivery/teams. A Technology Risk Manager who has broad range of experience and capability to support across various digital risk solutions and related areas e.g. experience in various aspects:

  • Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) - Technology-enabled Integrated Risk Management (IRM) programs
  • AI Governance and Responsible AI Strategy
  • Data governance, Risk Analytics, and Digital enablement
  • Controls Transformation, including Controls optimisation
  • Technology-focused internal audit - including IT General Controls, Cyber Security, and AI Governance
  • Program and Project risk management consulting and/or assurance services

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the execution of AI Governance Reviews and Responsible AI assessments aligned to global standards (NIST RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001)
  • Designing and implementing Responsible AI strategies for effective scaling of AI systems in a manner that is safe, trustworthy, and ethical
  • Delivering Technology Risk assessments across IT processes, platforms and AI systems against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards (e.g. NIST, CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley Act)
  • Managing teams to deliver IT Risk and Assurance engagements - including the evaluation and design of IT controls (e.g. application & IT general controls) in support of internal audits as well as Program Assurance engagements
  • Nurturing client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables and outcomes and assisting in the preparation of reports for clients and other stakeholders and ensuring client deliverables are on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal.
