Manager Disability Inclusion & Belonging Part Time: 28 Hours/Week Location: Whippany, NJ Salary: $40,000 Hybrid: In office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday About Us Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ convenes and leads our community to strengthen Jewish life, care for those in need, and support Israel. We serve Essex, Morris, Sussex, Union, and parts of Somerset County, connecting people to resources and meaningful opportunities to engage. Position Overview Greater MetroWest is a national leader in disability inclusion. The Manager of Disability Inclusion & Belonging serves as a community resource and subject-matter expert, advancing inclusive participation across Jewish communal life. This part-time role partners with individuals, families, congregations, schools, agencies, and Federation departments to foster a strong sense of belonging for people with disabilities. Responsibilities are prioritized to align with part-time capacity. Key Responsibilities Convene and staff the Professional Advisory Committee and ABLE Committee to strengthen collaboration, share best practices, and identify community needs. Support and advance inclusive practices across congregations, agencies, schools, and communal programs. Serve as a resource, advocate, and referral point for individuals with disabilities, families, and communal professionals. Partner with lay leaders and professional staff to enhance existing inclusion efforts. Collaborate with Jewish Community Relations Committee ,JCRCCommittee, JCRC, to integrate disability-related priorities into advocacy work. Qualifications Minimum three years of experience developing or implementing programs for people with disabilities. Minimum three years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. Knowledge of community-based disability organizations. Experience in a Jewish communal, educational, or nonprofit setting. Strong ability to collaborate with professionals and volunteer leaders. Why work with us?
