About the role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager who is driven, focused and passionate about shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure.As the Manager, Divisional Operations, Office of the Deputy Director-General, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to the Senior Director, Strategic Coordination, Office of the Deputy Director-General and branch executive in the management and resolution of critical issues impacting on Health Infrastructure Queensland. You will support the branch executive with key operational functions, including the preparation and coordination of executive correspondence and reports, support governance, engagement and process improvement tasks.
The role serves as a conduit between the Office of the Deputy Director-General and the Offices of the Executive Director and Director-General and the broader Divisional leadership team. It is Imperative that the role build and maintain strong relationships and networks throughout the Division, Department, and broader health system. You will manage a small team of correspondence coordinators and executive support staff and be accountable for working as a team to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality outcomes.
Multiple Permanent Full-Time opportunities available in a newly established area, located in the Brisbane CBD.
The successful personThe successful candidate will have previous experience in providing sensitive, coordinated, confidential and complex support to Executive Management Leadership teams within large complex public sector organisations. You will be valued for your demonstrated high-level communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
