The Gateway Air Export Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the air export operations at our gateway facility, ensuring smooth and efficient export processes.    Duties and Responsibilities Manage and supervise the air export operations at the gateway facility Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing Oversee the preparation of export documentation, including customs paperwork, shipping instructions, and compliance documents Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and customs requirements Monitor and track shipment progress, and proactively address any delays or issues that arise Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate shipment quotes and respond to customer inquiries Train and develop team members, provide guidance and support, and conduct performance evaluations Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders Other duties as assigned by supervisor     Educational background / Work experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in air export operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role In-depth knowledge of air export processes, regulations, and documentation requirements Familiarity with freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and international logistics   *** Qualified applicants (internal and external) must currently possess legal authorization to work in the United States   Language skills English is the principal language for this position.  This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.   Computer Literacy Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technical software is preferred.     Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand.  The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.      DSV is an equal employment opportunity employer.
