We are seeking a manager focused on Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EI&C) to join the Project Execution team in our Pulp, Energy and Circularity business line at Valmet. You will be part of our Engineering depart of Project Execution, and you can be based in any of our Finland PEC locations. As Manager in Engineering, with the support of your team members, you will lead EI&C Finland project execution, manage resources, and ensure harmonized ways of working across team members. You will be responsible for cost estimation, scheduling, and quality assurance of engineering activities, while mentoring and guiding your team to meet project goals. You will collaborate with global teams, including shared work initiatives with other locations, and contribute to strategic development and continuous improvement, that includes harmonization as one of the streamlines. Your role includes supporting delivery projects and sales phases, resourcing, participating in design reviews, and coordinating deviations from product standards within EI&C disciplines. You will report to Senior Manager, Process and EI&C Engineering and will be part of the PEC Process and EI&C Engineering Management Team. You will work closely together with other managers within the same team and project execution functions as well as the TUs and BUs within PEC business line To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a suitable engineering field. Extensive experience in EI&C engineering, preferably within the pulp and energy sector. Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Ability to collaborate within a Global Scenario. Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and guide teams. Proficiency in English language. Finnish is a differential. Readiness to travel.
