Play a critical role in leading a high-profile, large-scale election event vital to the NSW democratic process Design and deliver end to end complex workforce planning solutions that directly enable operational success Work in a collaborative team environment where your opinion and actions matter About the Role As the Manager, Election Workforce Planning and Development, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and leading the NSW Electoral Commission’s election workforce planning and development strategies to secure and build the temporary election staff workforce required to successfully deliver the next State Government Election. This position sits within the People & Safety function and works in close collaboration with the Elections Operations Group, leaders and other key stakeholders to deliver a time critical major election event. You will translate operational requirements into robust workforce plans and deliverables, ensuring the right people, capability and capacity are in place at the right time. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic professional who is proactive, organised and a forward-thinking leader, with a strong operational acumen, exceptional coordination skills and people leadership. The role is a Temporary Full-time position until 30 April 2027. Experience in large scale workforce planning, training and management. Strong strategic and people leadership with experience working collaboratively with subject matter experts in a matrix environment. Experience working in events or on large projects is desirable. Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
