Your extensive experience with the Plexos® market simulation software and Python coding skills will be crucial in this role. You will support renewable energy developers by leveraging our quantitative risk analytics to assess a range of hedging strategies, develop shaped renewable energy products, and optimize renewable energy and storage investments. Your expertise will help drive informed decision-making and strategic planning in the evolving energy market landscape. You will also develop and implement approaches to the management of energy market risks for large commercial and industrial customers. You will work closely on the design and modelling of energy contract and hedging structures and interact with clients to implement long-term risk management strategies tailored to their specific risk appetite and operational capabilities, incorporating the team’s forward-looking view on energy market conditions. What do I need to be successful in this role? You will meet the following pre-requisite requirements: 3 years’ experience in electricity market modelling. Demonstrated quantitative skillset, working with or managing advanced risk analytics. Proven advanced experience with Plexos® as well as MS Excel and Python programming skills. Other key preferred requirements are: Enthusiasm and genuine interest in energy markets and electricity financial markets. Confident interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with senior management. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate concisely and accurately. Our team is multi-disciplinary.
