We are seeking an accomplished Employee and Labor Relations Manager to join the Human Resources team in Andover, MA. This individual will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Labor Relations strategies that promote an ongoing positive work environment. Additionally, the candidate of choice will support the administration of collective bargaining agreements, provide contract negotiations support, and manage grievances and arbitrations. The successful candidate will support the Labor Relations team and report to the Director of Labor Relations for the Northeast. What You Will Do Prepare for and support contract negotiations Develop and maintain an effective relationship with Local and International Union representatives Develop successful relationship, and collaborate with teams, and HR functional partners in support of represented employees and business operations Act as a grievance POC for the company Prepare for grievances in the final step of the process prior to arbitration Assist with the preparation for and participate in arbitrations as the company advocate Lead Labor Relations efforts from day-to-day activities to strategic contractual implementations, grievance, and negotiations activity Advise all levels of management in the interpretation of the law and collective bargaining agreements Develop and provide training in all related areas to supervisors and managers Serve as advisor, mentor and coach for leaders to facilitate achievement of objectives and improve performance and potential Establish programs and processes to facilitate creation of a positive work environment, conduct site assessments/audits Drive Labor Relations policy, processes and practices to ensure effective execution and compliance Lead and participate in HR projects that support business and HR initiatives Partner with operations/managers on issues including manpower alignment, hiring, promotions, transfers, and reductions-in-force What You Will Learn All aspects of Labor and Employee Relations you may not have experienced.
