JOB DESCRIPTION: MANAGER EMPLOYER BRAND

As part of the Corporate Communications Team of Thales in the Netherlands, we are looking for a new Employer Branding Manager. Key responsibilities would be to increase the visibility of Thales as an employer of choice and further optimise our strong performance in employer branding. We strive to make Thales the most attractive employer in High Tech in the Netherlands!
Did you know that in 2024, we received over 1 million resumes worldwide and this year, Thales ranks #6 out of 100 most attractive employers in the Netherlands? With safety and security high on the political agenda in the defence and digital domain, we are recruiting around 600 new colleagues per year across several locations in the Netherlands (such as the Randstad, Hengelo and Eindhoven), and plan for this growth to continue.

  • At least 5 years of experience in employer branding and/or digital (recruitment) marketing
  • Experience with digital channels and tools, including running campaigns on social media
  • Experience with content creation (written, visual, video etc)
  • Project management skills to manage content delivery, resources, and budgets.
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
  • Strategy: develop on a yearly basis an effective talent communication plan in collaboration with the local talent acquisition and communication teams, based on the local talent target groups and recruitment forecasts, local culture and market, and media consumption behaviours.
  • University partnerships: formalise partnerships with key stakeholders at our most important Universities (WO/HBO), in order to maximise our visibility amongst technical students.
  • Events: support and/or lead different types of events (community, fairs, exhibitions), all with the objective of making Thales a more visible and attractive employer.
  • Community Management as well as organic and sponsored campaigns on social media: coordinate with the local TA team, local community manager as well as the global employer branding team to produce content related to talent attractiveness (local initiatives, events, team activities etc) and publish on Thales Group’s social media accounts to showcase local proof points of the EVP: support global initiatives and events by providing local contributions (e.g., International Women in Engineering Day, Cyber month, etc.). You will work closely with creative agencies, Thales’ media agency, and the advertising team to ensure local relevance as well as international coordination.
  • Career sites and job boards: lead content creation for the global & country pages on platforms such as the careers site, Glassdoor, LinkedIn life pages and job boards to ensure an engaging and consistent candidate experience.
  • Branding compliance: act as the point of reference for Thales’ EVP and Thales’ brand standards among local comms, HR and TA stakeholders, ensuring they understand the guidelines and validating all content produced for talent before publication.
  • Performance monitoring: for all actions, whether digital campaigns or in person events, monitor performance by defining relevant key performance indicators and ensuring that data is accurately recorded for continuous improvement.
