JOB BRIEF

The Engineering Manager will manage the entire engineering process, from planning and design to construction and completion, ensuring efficient management of resources, schedules, and budgets. This includes managing and mentoring a team of engineers and professionals, fostering clear communication, smooth workflows, and adherence to project goals. The role will provide technical expertise to ensure engineering solutions meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Additionally, the manager will communicate with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resolve any issues throughout the project lifecycle.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc or B.E. in Civil Engineering, with Master’s or major in Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in airports design is required, preferably with reputed consultancy organizations.
• Strong background in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience in design and engineering of airport projects.

• Guide the design consultant towards effective design solutions using value engineering to optimize practicality.
• Review and approve technical construction method statements for compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Provide support to project managers during design and construction phases to ensure smooth progress and minimize delays.
• Offer technical assistance to site teams to resolve issues, optimize workflows, and maintain momentum.
• Assist managers and project managers in achieving KPIs by providing guidance, resources, and support.
• Serve as Senior Project Manager representing ADA in key projects (Subsidence and Roof Repair), ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead project progress, ensuring compliance with requirements, and work closely with Senior Managers to meet KPIs on time.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them updated on project developments and changes.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to secure timely acquisition of materials and resources.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure expenditures align with financial plans.
• Monitor quality control and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify improvements for future projects.Mentor junior team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.
