The E-Powertrain System Integration Engineering Manager leads the design, development, and integration of electric powertrain systems across vehicle platforms. This role ensures seamless system-level integration of components such as batteries, motors, inverters, and control systems, driving innovation and performance in electrified mobility solutions. Key Responsibilities: System Integration Leadership: Oversee the integration of electric powertrain components into complete vehicle systems. Ensure compatibility and performance across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces. Technical Oversight: Guide the development of system architectures and simulation models (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Simscape). Lead virtual product development and validation activities for ePowertrain systems. Team Management: Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technologists. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams including controls, software, hardware, and validation. Project Execution: Define deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of integrated solutions. Develop and maintain system requirements, DFMEA, DVP&R, and PPAP documentation. Innovation & Strategy: Establish simulation and integration best practices. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in electrification technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in powertrain system development, with at least 5 years in electrification. Strong background in system integration, simulation, and control systems. Proven leadership and project management skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in vehicle-level integration and validation. Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety protocols. Familiarity with agile development and model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
