We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team responsible for innovative SaaS products in the professional services space. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, guiding the development, integration, and optimization of multiple software products. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and analytics teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions. Accountabilities: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers and contractors, building a collaborative, high-trust, and high-performing environment. Partner with product, technology, and analytics teams to define strategy, set priorities, and deliver on a multi-product roadmap. Oversee the development and maintenance of SaaS products, ensuring code quality, scalability, and security. Collaborate with UX and Architecture teams to modernize product lines and define platform requirements. Apply technical expertise to contribute hands-on in software development, including code reviews, architecture decisions, and troubleshooting. Implement process improvements, workflow optimization, and AI-driven solutions to enhance team efficiency and product innovation. Facilitate strategic planning and cross-team coordination to achieve successful delivery of complex projects. Minimum 7 years of experience directly leading software development teams. Strong technical background across multiple technologies, including frontend (React, NextJS), backend (Rails, NodeJS), and cloud infrastructure with CI/CD. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, predict timelines accurately, and balance technical debt with feature development. Experience mentoring, coaching, and resolving conflicts within teams, fostering trust and inclusivity. Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) and modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices. Excellent leadership, communication, prioritization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and make data-driven technical decisions.
