  • Guide and mentor a team of three professionals while working directly with senior leaders, contractors and regulators
  • Play a key role in how Powerlink delivers high-profile projects across Queensland, ensuring they meet environmental and compliance standards

As a Manager Environmental Delivery at Powerlink, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring environmental requirements are embedded into the planning, construction and operation of projects across Queensland. You’ll lead a team of three specialists and work closely with project delivery, operational teams, contractors and regulators to make sure our projects are delivered to the highest environmental standards.

  • Lead a cross-disciplinary team responsible for integrating approval conditions into project contracts and ensuring contractors deliver works in line with environmental obligations.
  • Oversee assurance, compliance monitoring and investigations throughout project delivery, supporting effective outcomes across major and other projects.
  • Collaborate with the Approvals team to ensure a smooth transition of approvals into delivery phase and across the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and refine environmental processes and systems to support delivery teams, while continuously improving existing practices.
  • Engage with contractors, regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure environmental performance expectations are clearly understood and achieved
