EXPERIENCED -EVENT DRIVEN FINANCE TRANSFORMATION - M&A

#Your Role

As a Manager in the Finance Transformation domain serving the Financial Services Industry (FSI), you wil be involved in supporting the M&A process in the following activities:

  • Support in the definition and execution of the activities to succeed in an M&A event
  • Support to the bank in the authorization process
  • Identification of the workstream to be activated in case of integration project
  • Assessment of the impacts on business and IT processes with a particular focus to CFO ones (accounting, Planning & Control, Treasury, …)
  • Governance of the whole transaction (e.g. definition of the migration plan, management of mandatory fulfilments, …)
  • Stakeholders’ management
  • Management of the different bank’s stakeholders from business to IT to guarantee the effective migration
  • Management of external stakeholders (e.g. regulatory institutions, legal and financial advisors)
  • Management of Deloitte’s working group and coordination with other working groups
  • Business development
  • Identification of possible business opportunity related to the post merger process
  • Preparation of clients’ pitches (e.g. both M&A opportunities and other CFO related opportunities)
  • Participation to marketing and networking activities

    Winning Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering

  • 7/9 years; experience in business consulting demonstrating:
  • Demonstrated expertise in M&A activities ed related IT implications.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, providing subject matter expertise to guide technical and operational decisions.
  • Proficiency in business English and Italian to engage with FSI-specific stakeholders, though emphasis is placed on technical and process expertise
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess process inefficiencies and recommend practical, scalable solutions
  • Awareness of emerging tech trends such as AI/Gen-AI driven
  • Strategic leadership and capability to oversee multiple activities in the financial services domain
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A plus is represented by Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an added bonus to support collaboration efforts but are not mandatory
