We are currently hiring for the position of: MANAGER, EVENT SALES This position is a crucial role in driving event sales and managing relationships with external clients. The individual will be responsible for generating client estimates, booking events, coordinating with internal teams, managing revenue tracking, processing invoices, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Steward large-scale third-party Events (Partner Film Festivals, Film Studios, Corporate, and SMERF), maximizing both the client experience * Support Event Sales through third-party inquiry internal approval (alongside Event Production & TIFF Programming) * Generate accurate client estimates based on event requirements * Process invoice requests via NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Book client events into Artifax, ensuring all details are recorded accurately. * Collaborate with the finance team to address any billing inquiries or discrepancies. * Maintain team processes and documents for Event Sales * Collaborate with internal departments to ensure relevant event information is sent in a timely fashion (Front of House, Technical, Facilities) * Support the Director with revenue forecasting and budget oversight, monthly reconciliations, and annual submissions. * Supervising volunteers, as required * Other duties as assigned. JOB GRADE & SALARY: * $70k TARGET CONTRACT DATES: * Dec 1, 2025- April 2, 2027 WORK LOCATION: * Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5 * Weekly in-office requirements:  * Minimum 2 days (November to April) * Minimum 3 days (May to October)  * Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum college diploma or equivalent work experience. * Minimum 3-year experience in sales or event production role  * Experience working in a non-profit or arts organization is an asset. * Demonstrated experience leading client relationships is an asset.  * Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize.  * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. * Previous experience in drafting and maintaining training materials is a plus. * Knowledge of database systems and management is an asset, specifically Artifax, financial software (Netsuite), and intermediate knowledge of excel.  * Dynamic and outgoing personality with sound judgment, tact and discretion. * Professional manner and “can-do” attitude.
