What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 400-unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept.     Overview The Catering & Marketing Manager grows Playa Bowls OKC’s brand awareness, catering revenue, and community presence across multiple locations. This is a field-driven, hands-on role focused on outreach, events, partnerships, and social media management that directly supports store traffic and top-line revenue. Key Responsibilities Catering & Outreach: * Build and maintain a pipeline of schools, universities, offices, gyms, hospitals, sports programs, and event planners. * Conduct daily outreach via in-person visits, emails, calls, and sampling drops. * Book catering orders and coordinate execution with store managers and teams. * Develop recurring catering accounts (e.g., weekly school orders, recurring corporate breakfasts). Local Store Marketing (LSM): * Plan and execute monthly promotions, pop-ups, charity events, gym partnerships, and holiday tie-ins. * Coordinate grand opening activities, holiday weekends (e.g., Easter, Memorial Day), and seasonal pushes (e.g., summer, New Year). * Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations that align with the Playa Bowls brand. Social Media Management: * Manage social media for the OKC locations across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok as appropriate). * Capture and create daily content highlighting bowls, smoothies, staff, events, community partners, and behind-the-scenes moments. * Maintain a consistent posting schedule (e.g., stories most days, feed posts 2x times per day, short-form videos regularly). * Respond to DMs, comments, and tags; redirect operational questions to store managers as needed. * Track analytics including follower growth, engagement rate, reach, and content performance. * Use social media strategically to drive catering inquiries, event attendance, and store visits. Compensation Structure Base Salary: * Range: $32,000 – $40,000 annually, based on experience. Catering Commission: * 3% commission on catering revenue booked and executed, paid monthly. LSM & Social Media Bonus: * $200–$400/month based on execution of events, outreach activity, lead generation, and marketing impact. On-Target Earnings (OTE): * Approximately $48,000 – $58,000+, with upside based on catering volume and marketing performance. 90-Day Onboarding Plan Days 1–14: Foundations * Learn Playa Bowls brand guidelines, voice, and visual standards. * Review corporate and top-performing location social accounts for best practices. * Learn menu, catering options, and operational capabilities of each store. * Build initial prospect list of target schools, offices, gyms, hospitals, and event partners. * Set up or optimize local social pages with correct handles, bios, and branding. * Create a 30-day content calendar for pre-opening and launch. Days 15–45: Pipeline Build & Audience Growth * Execute daily outreach: in-person visits, calls, emails, and sampling drops. * Run 2–3 sampling events weekly at high-value locations (gyms, youth sports, offices). * Start posting consistent social content tied to pre-opening buzz and community introductions. * Build relationships with local influencers and micro-creators. * Secure first wave of catering leads and potential recurring accounts. Days 46–90: Execute & Scale * Close first 3–5 catering orders and secure 2–3 recurring clients. * Plan and execute community events, grand opening activities, and seasonal pushes. * Regularly report on outreach activity, catering revenue, and social analytics. * Optimize content calendar based on what performs best locally. * Establish repeatable playbook for gym partnerships, school events, and corporate outreach.
