Location/Hours: Hybrid – 3 days/week in office
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager, Events & Communications oversees all mass communications with candidates and manages logistics for all partner-facing events for the Investment Academy, the Alternative Investment Fellowship Program, and Credit Academy and ensures effective and optimal SEO’s external presence. This role will drive candidate engagement through events, newsletters, and targeted outreach materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, stakeholder communications, or external relations.
- Proven experience managing communications and logistics at scale.

- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build relationships, influence key partners and stakeholders from the SEO community, and produce outcomes through collaboration.
- Experience working with DEI-centered organizations or programming preferred.
- Practiced verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be comfortable speaking to and engaging with a wide range of communities) and through different avenues, including in-person, email, messaging platforms, video chats/conferencing, and phone calls.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, GSuite, and standard workplace applications like Zoom and Box. Intermediate skills in Canva, Salesforce, and advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines independently and as part of a larger team.
- Exemplary attention to detail, copywriting, and proofing skills. Must be able to adopt SEO’s brand guidelines and flex tone and style to match both medium and audience.
