Description
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across regions. * 3-6 years of operational experience in Lease Accounting, General Ledger, and Controllership functions. * Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, with deep understanding of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16) and general ledger processes. * Ability to manage end-to-end GL processes including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting. * Skilled at managing multiple activities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. * Demonstrated success in identifying and addressing client needs * Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and auditors. * Delivering organized requests for information and resolving conflicts proactively. * Proven ability to manage relationships across onsite and offshore teams, fostering collaboration and cultural alignment. * Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and accountability. * Encouraging diverse perspectives to drive innovation and process improvement. * Coaching and mentoring staff with timely, constructive feedback. * Strong knowledge of lease accounting systems, ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle), and MS Office tools. * Analytical ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements. * Understanding of critical parameters in lease accounting (ROU assets, lease liabilities, interest expense, amortization) and GL processes. * Ability to challenge established process guidelines to drive efficiency and compliance. * Commitment and drive for results with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. * Ability to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments. * CMA, MBA, CA Candidates, should be open to all shifts
