Full job description
The Manager of Experiences & Events will lead the planning, development and end-to-end execution of events and entertainment across The Stables, Rodeo Drive Trade Centre and Rodeo Drive ibn Battuta.
The role will be responsible for building a strong annual event calendar, creating commercially successful experiences and ensuring every event is professionally planned, promoted and executed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop monthly, quarterly and annual event calendars for all three venues.
- Plan and execute weekly brunches, themed nights, live entertainment, seasonal celebrations and special events.
- Create and manage competitions, including beer pong, darts, mechanical bull, quiz nights, gaming events and sports-related activations.
- Manage each event from concept development and budgeting through to promotion, operations and post-event evaluation.
- Develop new event concepts suited to the identity and target audience of each venue.
- Source, negotiate and coordinate with bands, DJs, performers, impersonators, hosts, entertainers, production companies and other suppliers.
- Prepare event proposals, budgets, timelines, floor plans, production requirements and detailed event run sheets.
- Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, Kitchen, Bar, Security, AV, Reservations and Finance departments.
- Ensure the venue is fully prepared, including entertainment, sound, lighting, décor, staffing, packages, guest lists and table plans.
- Manage corporate bookings, private functions, brand activations and external events where required.
- Identify external event opportunities that can generate additional revenue or brand exposure for the group.
- Work with the Marketing team to create event campaigns, promotional calendars and ticketing strategies.
- Ensure all entertainment permits, supplier documentation and venue requirements are completed on time.
- Be present during major events to oversee execution, guest experience and problem resolution.
- Conduct a post-event review covering attendance, revenue, guest feedback, operational issues and return on investment.
- Maintain a database of entertainers, suppliers, production partners, corporate clients and event agencies.
