We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager - Facility Maintenance to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring optimal building conditions, and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies. Your Responsibilities Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians Assign tasks, prioritize work orders, and monitor performance Develop and implement training programs for team members Facility Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities Oversee building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Manage vendor relationships and contracts Budget Management: Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them Monitor expenses and control costs Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans Coordinate responses to facility emergencies Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards Your Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance management and a deep technical proficiency in cold store maintenance and refrigeration system reliability Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures Your Competencies: Technical: Proficiency in facility management software Understanding of building automation systems Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques Behavioral: Teamwork and Collaboration Quality and Results focused Learning Agility Business Acumen Strategic Thinking Digital Savvy Negotiation and influence Emotional Intelligence Decision Making
