In addition, the office designs and delivers high-impact faculty development programs, workshops, and fellowships in collaboration with the nationally recognized Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and cultivates leadership capacity among administrators, department chairs, and faculty. The Provost & Executive VP for Academic Affairs & Office of Faculty Affairs is seeking to hire a Manager, Faculty Affairs, on a full-time basis. The scope of the responsibilities will include these essential duties, but is not limited to the following: Manage the credential verification and hiring process for Part-Time Instructors, Graduate Teaching Assistants B, and Adjunct Instructors. Oversee faculty records management to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and proper documentation across university systems. Manage MFE (Managed Faculty Events) data entry processes for faculty hires, reappointments, and promotions. Enter and update faculty appointments and employment data in the Banner system. Initiate OneUSG transactions for all Graduate Assistants/Student Assistants hired within the Provost's Office and the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA). Manage the Faculty Affairs intake inbox by reviewing, routing, and tracking faculty action requests (i.e. pay actions, reclassifications, administrative appointments, etc.). Review/approve OneUSG transactions related to Part-Time Instructor hires, job changes and education updates. Review/approve faculty recruitment and hiring proposal requests in PeopleAdmin (Faculty Applicant System). Oversees the faculty file room and electronic storage systems, including hiring, training, and supervising Student/Graduate Assistants who support records management. Log and track faculty hires using internal OFA tools and spreadsheets. Process monthly termination reports and coordinate appropriate follow-up with HR/academic colleges and units. Act as liaison with college faculty hiring personnel, Banner management personnel, and central HR Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Previous work experience in a university setting.
