Description
As the Manager driving key parts of the FCSD Strategic PMO, you will be responsible for helping to enable the processes that drives our strategic agenda forward. You will: Establish a FCSD PMO Function: Help design, implement, and drive a world-class and lightweight project management function for FCSD, establishing the standardized processes and reporting that will be used across key strategic initiatives. Drive Transparency and Accountability: Create a central source of truth for our strategic portfolio. You will track initiative status, interdependencies, risks, and progress toward value capture, ensuring clear visibility for the entire leadership team. Act as a Center of Excellence: Serve as a thought partner for initiative owners across FCSD. You will equip them with PMO best practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure high-quality, consistent execution. Facilitate Executive Governance: Design and run standard governance forums (e.g., steering committees, monthly business reviews) to provide clear, concise updates to the FCSD leadership team, enabling effective and timely decision-making. Proactively Manage and Mitigate Risk: Interface directly with business leaders and initiative teams to identify potential roadblocks and collaboratively develop robust risk mitigation plans for any off-track initiatives. Influence and Collaborate: Work across all levels of the organization to foster a culture of accountability and execution excellence, ensuring strategic projects are delivered on time and deliver their intended value. Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor's degree required A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience (or a Master's Degree with 3-5 years of experience). Proven experience supporting high-impact, cross-functional projects at a global scale, working effectively with various levels of the organization. A clear understanding of the fundamentals of the automotive industry and parts and services, including competitive dynamics, trends, and company operations. A strong track record of challenging the status quo, being self-driven, and bringing creative solutions to support the resolution of complex issues. Excellent influencing and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to confidently present findings and lead problem-solving discussions with senior leadership. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (for senior executive presentations), Excel (for modeling and data analysis), and Word. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Strong preference for previous roles within a corporate strategy organization, strategic finance or business unit strategy functions, a transformation office, or at top-tier management consulting firm. Prior experience in supporting a PMO, including designing and implementing governance Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
