What You Will Get To Do: SS&C is searching for a skilled Manager, Field Services to lead technical support operations and infrastructure delivery at our Melbourne site. You will oversee desktop systems, AV/VC setups, and inventory management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, end user equipment, video conferencing and network issues Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security Communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel Recommend hardware and software solutions, including acquisitions and upgrades Participate in IT and infrastructure development projects Conduct training programs for basic and specialised applications Lead and supervise a small team of field technicians across multiple sites Coordinate department activities and advise cross-functional teams Supervise inventory and AV/VC delivery for Melbourne site What You Will Bring: Master’s degree with 4+ years, Bachelor’s with 6+ years, or High School with 8+ years of related experience Proven leadership in technical support and infrastructure delivery Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to make decisions within company policy to meet business objectives Experience establishing procedures and recommending policy changes We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
