Manager – Finance & Accounts   Role Title Manager – Finance & Accounts Grade    Department  Finance & Accounts Division Finance & Accounts Reporting to  GM- Finance & Accounts Reported by Accountant     Purpose   Responsible for quarterly audits, yearly finalization of accounts, various statutory compliances related to direct & Indirect taxation, Company law, various functional MIS etc for SPV’s under their charge.   Key Responsibilities Responsibilities Strategic Update & keep updated the Senior Management on the latest Accounting Standards / financial laws (Corporate law, both Direct & Indirect taxation rules, RBI requirements etc.,) and its impact on the functional operations and provide critical inputs to them for decision making   Operational Internal Control and Corporate Governance Ensure timeliness and accuracy of accounting for respective projects/ SPVs in compliance with applicable Accounting / Taxation Standards as well as internally framed SOPs/ policies / norms as defined by Senior Management, so as to comply with transparency & Corporate Governance requirements.  Ensure adherence to various critical statutory compliances as well as maintain robust updated documentation of financial information.  Preparation of financial statements as per IND AS including variance analysis and Board presentation. Maintain proper books of accounts for each SPV/ project including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Annexure to the Balance Sheet and Notes to Accounts and forward the same to GM – F&A for review. Responsible for finalization & audit of accounts, Monthly, quarterly & yearly basis, for respective projects by ensuring all necessary closing procedures are completed including timely & correct accounting. Coordinate with various functional departments for all activities required for the publishing of financial statements for the various SPV’s.   Preparing financial statements ensuring closure of books of accounts:    Tax Compliances  Support to tax team for computation, reconciliations and assessments on periodic basis for respective projects/ SPVs. Also advise on advance tax payments, wherever applicable. Ensuring advance tax working in collaboration with tax team and payments of tax installments To ensure that relevant information as sought by Tax team related to various tax notices and Income Tax Assessments shared within the timelines shared by tax team with full adequacy Review of tax compliances.   Audit Responsible for coordinating with statutory auditor and internal auditor & ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards/ policies. Ensuring adherence Internal financial control framework.  Ensure adherence to the defined Audit Plan (for internal and statutory audits) for respective projects/ SPVs & also ensure that replies to audit reports are given within set timelines. Review various monthly MIS sent by their reportees & escalate matters that are critical. Review budgeted costs with actual with the respective Finance team at quarterly intervals & provide inputs / status updates on the functional activities for respective projects to them. Ensure related party transaction at arm’s length prices with compliance as per companies Act / SEBI guidelines and benchmarking of transactions for taxation and obtaining report on RPT transactions.
