In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the local management team through economic analysis, planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will extend to effective working capital and treasury management, tax compliance, and audit activities. Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our local country entity's financial strategy, execution, and management. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the local management team through economic analysis, planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will extend to effective working capital and treasury management, tax compliance, and audit activities. Skills Lead local country entity’s finance strategy, execution and management Assists the local management team in the business unit economic analysis, planning, forecasting and decision-making Effective working capital and treasury management and Tax compliance and audit Hiring, training, managing and overseeing of the finance team and their day-to-day finance and accounting functions Lead and manage finance automation and transformation projects involving people, systems, tools and processes Ensures proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records in accordance with applicable regulatory and financial reporting frameworks Preparation of monthly reporting package for HQ Finance Preparation and filing of periodic tax and other statutory returns before the relevant regulatory bodies in the Philippines Liaise with local auditors and local regulators (e.g., BIR, SEC, BOI, BSP and Insurance Commission) Assists the HQ Finance during quarterly reporting, due diligence audits, and Group audits Observes and enforces compliance to business controls ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, integrity & business focus of financial systems & processes Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines, preferably with auditing background from an auditor or client perspective or both Updated knowledge of the local tax system and local commercial laws At least 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial work experience in finance, audit or accounting work Comfortable working in a multicultural and fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and can work under pressure, Analytical, quantitative, systematic and organized Fluent in English both verbal and written forms Good functional knowledge of Excel and finance/accounting software Independent, with initiative, high level of focused energy and great interpersonal skills Previous experience with Insurance brokerage business is a plus SAP knowledge preferred but not a must #MoneyHeroGroup #LI-AK1 What can you expect from us?
