Description
We’re looking for a Manager of Finance, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will provide leadership to the Financial Planning team by coordinating and managing the annual budget process, as well as associated financial analysis and reporting. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Lead the planning and preparation of the annual operating budget for the IDS, ensuring that it is timely, accurate and meets the expectations of IDS leadership; communicate directly with IDS leadership as needed concerning budget processes; lead the optimization of information systems that support the annual budget process • Review and prepare financial and statistical reports and analyses associated with the budgeting process; coordinate with the Financial Services department to ensure reporting is timely and accurate • Manage team members and team activities by establishing guidelines for individual and team performance to ensure desired outcomes and meet department and IDS goals; maintain responsibility for completion of work within the team and hold team members accountable with regard to accomplishing job responsibilities; measure customer satisfaction and provide other metrics to benchmark and analyze team performance; provide performance coaching, development and reviewing for team members • Ensure that long-term financial planning processes integrate with the annual operating budget process; work closely with the Manager of Financial Planning and assist with operating budget processes as needed. • Plan, lead and prepare other types of financial analysis as directed by the Director of Corporate Finance & Financial Planning. Skills & Requirements • Requires bachelor's degree Accounting, finance, business, or healthcare administration • Preferred master's degree Accounting, finance, business, or healthcare administration • Required 5 years' experience in financial analysis and/or accounting • Required 1 year Supervisory or project lead experience • Preferred Healthcare experience • A master's degree in accounting or finance can add 2 years of experience to the candidate’s total years of experience **Previous experience with pre-award/post-award grant funding processes highly desired
Responsibilities
The Manager of Finance will lead the planning and preparation of the annual operating budget and manage the Financial Planning team. This includes ensuring timely and accurate reporting and optimizing information systems that support the budget process.
