What you'll be doing

As Manager, Financial Accounting, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across financial accounting and revenue, ensuring the District delivers accurate, timely and compliant financial information. You’ll combine strong technical accounting capability with people leadership and commercial thinking to strengthen financial performance and governance.

  • Lead statutory financial reporting, external audit, taxation, treasury, asset, trust and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, NSW Treasury requirements and NSW Health financial policies and determinations.
  • Strengthen financial controls, policies and processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and better decision-making.
  • Lead revenue strategy and oversight to maximise revenue, reduce leakage, manage financial risk and improve funding outcomes.
  • Develop high-performing Financial Accounting and Revenue teams through coaching, performance leadership, succession planning and a strong learning culture.
