Create your best future and join WIB Finance as a Manager, Financial Control Sydney location Hybrid role - 3 days in office Full time permanent position What’s the role? This role involves working with Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Finance and Treasury Finance teams both locally and with the offshore branches to ensure appropriate financial reporting and control over financial data relating to areas of responsibility. Key responsibilities will include: month‑end reporting including reconciliations, balance sheet reviews and journals, overseeing hedge accounting, preparing accurate financial statement disclosures for Group reporting etc. What do I need? Tertiary qualification and CA/CPA designation or equivalent experience Three years financial accounting experience in Banking/Financial Services. Institutional/market product exposure is advantageous. Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting and financial control in financial institution environment Understands priorities of and adhere deadline Strong communications and influencing skills. Experience in Oracle is preferred. Why join us?
