About Job We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Assistant Manager/ Manager - Accounts. The successful candidate will have hands-on knowledge and expertise in IFRS/ Ind AS and ICFR testing/internal audits. Skills & Qualification Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience Deep understanding of IFRS/ Ind AS and ICFR testing/internal audits Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with experience of leading and managing a team of accountants Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Proficient in MS Office, with a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements, with experience of preparing and reviewing financial statements Responsibilities Ensuring timely completion of financial reporting and compliance tasks Develop and implement financial reporting and compliance procedures, ensuring alignment with IFRS/ Ind AS and ICFR testing/internal audits Conduct ICFR testing and internal audits, identifying and resolving complex financial issues Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and compliance Stay up-to-date with financial reporting and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory changes Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, ensuring their professional development and growth Automate the manual process and bring improvements to the existing process
Responsibilities
The role involves ensuring timely completion of financial reporting and compliance tasks while developing and implementing procedures aligned with IFRS/Ind AS. The candidate will also conduct ICFR testing and internal audits, prepare financial statements, and mentor junior accountants.
