Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and and staff to create a safe, nurturing environment.
The Center Manager for Infant/Toddler (ICTM) is responsible for assisting the Director with assigned tasks and for creating an environment which is warm and loving and contributes to the emotional, physical, educations and social development of the children in the Center. The ITCM is responsible the oversight of the Infant and Toddler program classroom staff. The ITCM is also responsible for creating planning and meeting time for all teaching teams. The ITCM assists in the operation of the Center in compliance with all New York State Office of Children and Family Services Day Care licensing and regulatory requirements and all other applicable local, state or federal laws. Assumes Director’s responsibilities in Director’s absence as delegated.
Responsibilities:

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Maintain up to date child files and emergency paperwork for infant and toddler children.
• Create weekly Infant and Toddler staff work schedules
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Infant and Toddler program staff
• Schedule weekly out of classroom planning time for all teachers
• Support teaching staff in coaching and continuing education plans
• Guide teaching staff in implementing the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD online assessment
• Track infant and toddler staff training needs and hours to meet NYSOCFS regulations
• Guide staff in setting up and maintaining ASPIRE accounts
• Scheduling and completing paperwork for required safety drills (Monthly fire drills and twice a year shelter in place drills)
• Be responsible the oversight of center wide health and safety checklists (classrooms and kitchen)
• Assist Director with licensing, regulation, and lite administrative tasks as assigned

Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education or related field AND At least 2 years of experience supervising staff in a childcare setting or related field., OR
Associates Degree in early childhood education or related field AND At least 2 years of experience supervising staff in a childcare setting or related field., OR
Child Development associate (CDA) AND At least 2 years of experience supervising staff in a childcare setting or related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
