Job Description The Manager, Foundation Operations is a core team member of the Office of the Foundation President and partners with the Foundation President, Project Consultant and Vice President of Development and Operations to plan and execute cross-functional projects related to system goals and initiatives that support the Foundation’s fundraising effort. The Manager of Foundation Operations reports to the Project Consultant and will be involved in database (CRM) conversion, special projects related to donor engagement, departmental strategic initiatives and other high-profile activities.
Experience
5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relationships, team-building, customer service, and problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
Strong marketing experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fundraising, Communications, English, or related field
Certification Summary
No professional certifications required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Must have proven organizational skills with ability to plan time effectively, balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Preferred customer relationship management (CRM) experience in Raiser’s Edge and/or Salesforce
Advanced writing proficiency
Personal organization and time management
Human relations and teamwork
Personal adaptability and motivation
Job Responsibilities
Assist with CRM conversion and implementation from Raiser’s Edge to Salesforce Ascend
Change Management and Communication
Standard Operating Procedure documentation
Front-end user training plan and implementation
Conducts high-level, complex projects related to system goals and initiatives
Integrates system strategy for growth and national presence
Gathers, analyzes and summarizes relevant data or information into effective presentations or communications for internal/external audiences and executive-level review
Develops detailed project plans that have clear objectives and meaningful outcomes
Works collaboratively with groups or teams at all levels of the organization and across organizational lines to achieve goals of Foundation initiatives
