JOB SUMMARY:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager for Flowserve’s Flow Control Division drives financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the division’s strategic objectives. This role delivers actionable insights to senior leadership through robust financial modeling, performance reporting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with Flowserve’s goals in the global valve market.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for complex product lines.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on team development and collaboration.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, BPC, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year financial plans for the Flow Control Division.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs tailored to valve product lines, market segments, and operational performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities specific to valve manufacturing, sales, and supply chain.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support pricing strategies, capital investments, and new product introductions in the valve portfolio.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and product teams to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance resource allocation, cost control, and market expansion strategies.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering analytical rigor and alignment with Flowserve’s values.
  • Ensure compliance with Flowserve’s financial policies and industry regulations.
