mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 500 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.
Working in the GovTech sector f or our new brand SOVRA, we are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Manager is primarily involved in reviewing monthly financial performance, preparing ongoing monthly forecasts and the annual budget. They prepare various analyses and projects (budget variances, project tracking, performance and profitability analysis, etc.). They ensure the integrity of the required documents within the allocated timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in accounting or another relevant field;
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the field;Recognized professional designation (CPA), a major asset.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES LOOK LIKE?

• Participate in annual budgeting, monthly periodic forecasts, financial planning and analysis;
• Be involved in the strategic planning process of the 5-year plan;
• Develop, optimize and update on a monthly basis the tools required to monitor the cash flow of the different business solutions (multi-currency);
• Prepare monthly management accounting reports, including variance analyses, related recommendations, and preparation of presentations for senior management and the board of directors;
• Collaborate with specialized firms for the optimization of Workday Adaptive (SaaS);
• Support and work closely with managers and executives in interpreting financial information;
• Participate in and build financial scenarios required for impairment testing;
• Collaborate cross-functionally in the execution of special projects;
• Prepare various analytical and management reports (sales reports, customer revenue reports, etc.);
• Monitor dashboards and operational performance indicators;Contribute to the optimization of processes related to the various financial systems.

WHAT SKILLS FROM YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND WILL BE NECESSARY AND USEFUL IN THIS ROLE?

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to simplify information;

• Knowledge of Business Central and/or Workday Adaptive, a major asset;
• Strong financial modeling skills;
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) to efficiently produce analyses;
