LOCATION: 82 Washington St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
SHIFT/CORE HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide insights and analysis to support business decision-making and drive financial performance across the organization. This role focuses on forward-looking financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a strong emphasis on partnering with leadership to enhance operational efficiency and strategic growth.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track and report on financial and operational performance.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, management reporting, and trend analysis to support leadership decisions.
  • Partner with department heads to evaluate cost structures, analyze initiatives, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop robust business cases for investments, operational changes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and drive profitability.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment between forecasts and actuals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the financial analyst to strengthen analytical and business partnering capabilities.
