ABOUT CALHN
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South’s Australia’s major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.
We’re looking for talented staff to join us and help us to shape the future of health through world-class care and world-class research and achieve our vision of being in the top 50 health services in the world and top 5 in Australia.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager, Freedom of Information (FOI) and Privacy to join the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (LHN). In this pivotal role, you will ensure the organisation meets its legislative obligations for FOI and Privacy, providing expert advice to executives and staff on FOI policies. You will oversee the systems and processes that optimise services, manage internal and external reviews, and ensure compliance through the Freedom of Information Management System (FOIMS). Your expertise will also be essential in coordinating and processing sensitive FOI applications, particularly in political and media contexts.
As a leader, you will manage and guide a dedicated FOI team, fostering a culture of compliance and efficiency. You will be a key point of contact for FOI matters across the organisation, making a significant impact on ensuring transparency, privacy, and compliance within Central Adelaide LHN. If you’re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role where you can lead a team and make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
