Reporting to the Senior Manager, this is a full-time and permanent position is based in our Melbourne, Australia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our funds accounting team and its’ growth. Key responsibilities: Deliver a high-quality outsourced financial control and financial reporting service including preparation of AASB compliant financial statements. Collaborate with the client’s finance team on daily processing, financial reporting, tax matters, entity management needs and reporting to their internal management and key stakeholders. Ensure that financial records are maintained and reported in compliance with lawful and accepted procedures and policies. Prepare of monthly management accounts and manage the entire financial reporting process. This includes annual lifecycle planning, audit management & oversight, financial statement review and processing. Oversee and be responsible to coordinate with our offshore and onshore team to run the weekly vendor management and AP payment function. Coordinate the monthly recharge and expense management function for the client. Assist the team for entity governance function with ASIC for the client. Ensure all work performed by Vistra GSCs are performed in-line with agreed SLA’s. Identify operational improvement through standardisation, simplification, technology and use of GSCs. Key requirements: Strong project management skills. Strong knowledge of AASB Accounting standards. Ideally have knowledge of Fund investment structures in Australia. Have a high level of resilience and ability to multi-task and be comfortable with managing difficult situations as they arise. Experienced in managing corporate accounting function for a high-volume transaction client. Have excellent problem-solving skills. Takes a leading role in clear and effective communication with the client and across Vistra. Strong communicator to various stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, auditors and suppliers.
