Description

The Manager, General Processing will be responsible for delivering world class service to meet and exceed members’ needs and expectations while surpassing service level agreement goals for all partner credit unions. Oversees transaction processing and managing deposit products while ensuring compliance regulations. In addition, the Manager will focus on continuous process improvements, maintaining current Standard Operating Procedures, developing, motivating, and sustaining a strong team through employee growth and development.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 5 years of experience in the financial or banking industry, required.
  • 3 years of leadership experience, required.
  • National Check Professional Certification, or CLP, preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they pertain to Deposit Operations products.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and find outside of the box solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proven excellence in problem resolution and process improvement skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and monitor productivity of daily functions of specialty service areas which can include IRA, Estate Services, and Legal Processing.
  • Implement process and procedural changes and ensure employees are informed on updated information.
  • Train, coach, and develop employees in leading a team to deliver quality service to promote member service excellence while encouraging and maintaining a positive employee experience.
  • Drive successful performance of employees; address performance issues and ensure employee relations are resolved timely.
  • Meet and exceed all SLAs defined for all functions and processes. This could include ensuring tasks and activities are completed within predetermined timeframes.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Assists with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all Federal financial regulations and guidelines.
  • Work as liaison with partner credit unions, vendors and agencies as needed to facilitate services needed.
  • Update, create, monitor, and track monthly statistical reports to provide to senior management.
  • Identify problems and sources of problems, formulates solutions, and implements corrective action.
  • Work in collaboration and partnership with other team members, including different departments and CU partners.
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.
