Your next career opportunity As the Manager of Global Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the faculty’s international strategy. Working under the strategic direction of the Associate Dean (International), you will translate strategic priorities into high-impact initiatives, develop and progress high-value international partnerships, and coordinate efforts across Faculty and University portfolios to ensure alignment and impact. You will contribute to strengthening international student pathways, global mobility, research collaboration, and international industry and alumni engagement, while providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders and supporting informed, data-driven decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful global partnerships and contribute to the Faculty’s standing as a globally connected and internationally recognised institution. Your responsibilities will include: Strategic partnership development and global engagement: Supporting the Faculty’s international strategic priorities by developing and advancing high-value partnerships that strengthen international student pathways, global mobility, international industry exposure, and research and PhD collaboration. Operational support and relationship management: Managing international visits, delegations and events, and cultivating strong, trusted relationships across Faculty, University, alumni and external partners to enable coordinated and effective global engagement. Advisory and reporting: Providing strategic advice and analysis to senior leadership, representing the Faculty in relevant forums, and supporting reporting, governance and informed decision-making. You may be a great fit if: You bring strong expertise in international engagement and higher education management, with the ability to lead strategic initiatives, develop high-value global partnerships, and strengthen student and research outcomes. You are proactive, independent and operationally strong, with sound judgement, strategic thinking and professionalism to work effectively through cross-functional collaboration to translate strategy into effective delivery. You may also: Have a relevant postgraduate qualification or extensive experience in international engagement, global strategy, or higher education management, or a related field.Have a strong track record of developing and progressing international partnerships in complex institutional environments. Demonstrate sound judgement, initiative and the ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a strategic and operational role. Possess outstanding interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. Exhibit well-developed data analysis and report writing skills, with the ability to use data to inform planning, evaluation and decision-makingBe familiar with the Australian higher education sector, the international education market, and key international policy trends shaping international engagement.
