ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for a Manager, Government Operations and Integration to advance cross-ministry initiatives, support executive decision-making, and foster alignment across government. This position will work with Chief Operating Officers and their offices to advance government priorities. This is a high-impact role for someone who excels in navigating complexity, building consensus, and delivering results while frequently working with cross-ministry partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Evidence-Based Decision-Making and Performance Evaluation - Conduct research and evaluations to assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
  • Build Collaborative Relationships - Lead and support cross-ministry teams and engage stakeholders to align efforts, resolve conflicts, and deliver shared outcomes.
  • Support Executive Leadership - Respond to emerging priorities and ad hoc requests with agility, professionalism, and strategic insight.
  • Lead Strategic Projects - Manage project lifecycles—from planning to execution—ensuring alignment and understanding interdependencies with government priorities, timelines, and budgets.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (CONTINUED)

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven Leadership Experience - Previous management experience and a track record of providing direction and leadership on complex projects.
  • Strong Financial Acumen - Ability to interpret financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic insights for resource allocation.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills - Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, including presenting to senior audiences and facilitating meetings.
  • Advanced Interpersonal Skills - Skilled in consultation, negotiation, and facilitation to build consensus and resolve conflict across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking - A flexible thinker who can analyze issues creatively and practically to develop effective solutions.
  • Government Expertise - Deep understanding of government operations, policy development, legislative processes, performance evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Technical Proficiency - Fluent in tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other enabling technologies.
  • Process and Contract Management - Experience developing business processes, performing estimation exercises, and managing contracts in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Dependability and Agility - A resourceful public servant who consistently delivers results while navigating complex systems with professionalism and adaptability.
